CATTLE LOVE OUR
ROUND POLY FEEDER
Round poly cattle feeder –
Australian made, built to last
Fatter cattle faster is the just the beginning.
Buying our easy to use Australian made and owned self feeder means you don't have to put up with all the things you hate about your metal grain feeder.
Enjoy longevity, efficiency and feed ration optimisation using the Roswell Ag RCF cattle feeder (Australian patent application No. 2014901818).
Our round poly cattle feeder is perfect for finishing cattle, from weaners to bulls. And it makes supplementary cattle feeding, lick feeding, feedlot, drought and winter feeding easy, fast and safe. Plus it's ideal for backgrounding cattle prior to placing them in feedlots.
If you're looking for a wheeled feeder, our cattle feeder is perfect. It's easy to move using a front end loader with forks and extension slippers.

WHY BUY OUR CATTLE FEEDER?
"These feeders saved our business. We had a lot of young cattle that needed weight put on and we simply didn't have any way of doing it. With Roswell's feeders, we were able to finish our own cattle. They paid for themselves within three months.
They've been a really powerful tool and they are something we'll use most years going forward because they'll add consistency and throughput to our business."
Gabriel Pasmore, Forbes
You save money. It's linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), so our cattle self feeder won’t rust. The legs are galvanised steel and ALL of the hardware is 304 stainless steel. You don’t have to continually repair and repaint rusted units or replace them. Nice change.
It’s durable and tough. It's made from Rotathene SUPA UV, with a UV rating of 20, meaning prolonged outdoor protection in Australia's harsh conditions. Download a PDF brochure of Rotathene SUPA UV. Plus, if polyethylene bends, through knocks and jolts, it easily bends back in the sunlight. So, our poly self feeder outlasts the life of your steel bins. There are minimal blockages, too, as there's less chance that water will get in to the feed bin. Wouldn't that be awesome.
50% greater capacity than standard metal feeders, meaning less visits to the paddock to fill the feeder (9.5m3 of storage, compared to 6.25m3 in a comparable 16 foot feeder). Every spare minute added to your schedule counts.
Costing 80% less to transport, you save money. Our cattle feeder's modular design means each component is placed in a neat, nestable stack. Imagine transporting 22 self feeders on a low loader. And no need for an escort vehicle.
Your employees are safer. It's light weight and modular. The lid (domed hatch) opens from the ground. The hopper (feed bin) is translucent so you can easily see feed levels from ground level, whether in the paddock or driving past in your ute. There's no more stopping to check feed levels. Best of all, say goodbye to the two biggest injury-causing features on your metal feeders: ladders (which workers climb to see in to the feeder, and can easily fall off) and heavy lids.
30% more trough space than standard metal self feeders. And, because it's round, you can use less cattle feeder bins to feed more cattle at the same time (compared to equivalent straight line feeders). Cattle are more spread out, too, so they don't jostle as much. Our pictures prove cows love our cattle grain feeders. Wouldn't you?
Reduced cleaning time. The cattle feeder's awning keeps the feed ration drier. And there are no internal structures for the feed to hang up on. Plus LLDPE is just like a Teflon frying pan, so the feed doesn’t stick as readily to the surface of the poly cattle feeder. And if there is a blockage, remove the LLDPE skirt or the entire upper conical roof (6 x wing nuts) and hose it off. Simple.
You're always in control. You can easily adjust the flow of feed using the stainless steel vertical turnbuckles.
If you're looking for a wheeled cattle feeder or one that's easy to move, this is perfect. Our round poly cattle feeder is easily moved with a front end loader using forks and slippers.
You save time and money. A central filling point means a lower spillage rate on filling. No more overfilling or under-filling your cattle feeder. Plus, say goodbye to days of wasting feed when shovelling out the ration to find and fix blockages. Our self feeder doesn't block nearly as much.
Our round poly feeder is modular so parts are easily disassembled and replaced in the field. You don't need to take the whole unit to an engineering workshop. We sell spare parts and all parts are fully interchangeable. They're so much easier to use.
You don't waste time encouraging the cattle to use to our feeder. They take to it like a duck to water the minute it hits the paddock. For lick feeding, supplementary feeding, drought and winter feeding, and for opportunity feedlots.

“The thing that really impressed me is the cattle feeder design. They feed really easily and we've got no problems with our ration hanging up. And my cattle love the poly cattle feeders. Cattle start on the poly feeders way better than on our steel feeders. They’re amazing.”
